Inspirations

Hürrem Sultan, also known as Roxelana, was a notable and influential figure in the Ottoman Empire during the 16th century. Born around 1505 in what is now Ukraine, her original name was Alexandra Lisowska. Captured during a military campaign, she was sold into slavery and taken to the imperial harem of Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent. Despite humble beginnings, Hürrem quickly established herself at court thanks to her intelligence, beauty, and captivating personality.

The fragrance “Hürrem Sultan” is inspired by the extraordinary legacy of Hürrem Sultan, whose life reflects her intelligence, beauty and indomitable spirit. This enchanting fragrance opens with a sweet and inviting blend of Turkish delight and crisp red apple, instantly evoking the lush gardens of the imperial palace and the vibrant energy of a thriving court. The initial burst of sweetness is further enriched by the exotic warmth of palm dates, which adds a rich, almost decadent note, reminiscent of the sumptuous feasts enjoyed by the Sultan and his guests.

As the fragrance evolves, the heart reveals a captivating bouquet that beautifully captures the essence of Hürrem. The precious floral note of otto rose symbolises her unparalleled beauty and grace, embodying romance and sophistication. This note is harmoniously intertwined with the warm, golden sweetness of honey, evoking feelings of love and devotion that reflect the deep bond Hürrem shared with Sultan Suleiman. This opulent floral heart is complemented by the rich, nutty aroma of baklava, reminiscent of the sumptuous desserts served in the palace, creating an indulgent and festive experience. The addition of orris concrete, with its soft, powdery elegance, envelops the wearer in a velvety embrace, reinforcing the intimate allure of the fragrance.

In the base, the fragrance is anchored in a deep, resonant richness that reflects the strength and complexity of Hürrem. Thai Oud brings an animalic, woody and earthy depth, infusing the fragrance with a sense of mystery and allure, while Patchouli brings an earthy, earthy quality that enhances the overall depth of the composition. The warm, resinous qualities of Amber, Myrrh and Benzoin evoke the opulence of the Imperial Court, conjuring up vivid images of grand gatherings filled with laughter, music and celebration. Notes of Incense introduce a spiritual and smoky dimension, recalling the sacred rituals and enchanting atmosphere of the Royal Palace, further enhancing the fragrance’s captivating character.

Finally, the spiciness of cumin seed and the sweet spiciness of nutmeg introduce an intriguing complexity, inviting a deeper exploration of the fragrance’s layers. These spices add an unexpected twist that reflects Hürrem’s bold personality and ability to navigate the complex politics of the court with grace and cunning.

“Hürrem Sultan” is a rich and opulent fragrance that captures the essence of a legendary woman who redefined her role in history. It celebrates femininity, power and ambition, blending softness and warmth with exotic woods and spices to create a captivating olfactory experience. This fragrance is ideal for those who wish to wear a piece of history, channeling the strength and elegance of Hürrem Sultan with every spray. Leaving a lasting impression, it invites admiration and intrigue, making it perfect for special occasions or any time you wish to feel powerful and enchanting. The perfumer: Prin Lomros

Prin Lomros is a self-taught perfumer from Thailand, whose passion for fragrances dates back to his childhood, when he wore his mother's perfumes. Although he initially pursued a degree in film, earning a master's degree in the subject, he quickly realized that his true calling lay in the world of perfumery.

His journey into this universe began when he visited Grasse, France during the Cannes Film Festival, where he took perfumery courses that deepened his passion. Back in Thailand, he joined The Perfumer's World, a perfume company in Bangkok, to hone his skills. This led him to create his own brands: Pryn Parfum, Strangers Parfumerie and Parfum Prissana. In 2020, he merged these brands under the name PRIN, continuing to design perfumes inspired by his Asian roots and cinema.

Prin Lomros' creations have been internationally acclaimed, winning prestigious awards including the Art and Olfaction Awards in 2017 and 2018. His fragrances are also featured in various brands such as Azman, Der Duft, Zoologist Perfumes, and many more.

Prin’s approach to perfumery is unique, merging the narrative art of cinema with the art of olfactory creation. He designs his fragrances as stories, translating images, sounds and textures into olfactory accords. His creations, often infused with Asian elements such as Thai temple incense, are an expression of his personal journey, his cinematic influences and his love of perfumery. For him, each perfume is a work of art, whose interpretation varies depending on the person who wears it.

Prin

Prin is a perfume house founded in 2019, born from a simple and personal vision: to create a perfume that embodies the most authentic style and preferences of its creator. Its central concept is based on a unique olfactory signature, an interpretation of what he would do if he had to create only one, a perfume that deeply resembles him.

Prin's creations are imbued with a nocturnal poetry, where each fragrance transports us into twilight, mysterious and captivating worlds. The soul of the house is nourished by animal materials, raw and powerful ingredients that evoke both sensuality and depth.

The first chapter of this olfactory adventure opens with three striking creations: "Anatolia", a fragrance that celebrates the Orient with its rich and mysterious aromas, "Mandodari", an interpretation of Asian delicacy wrapped in woody and floral nuances, and finally "Aran", a composition that embodies wild nature, a captivating perfume of raw intensity.

These creations are an invitation to explore dark and sublime sensory horizons, where each note reflects the essence of a nocturnal and animal universe. The Prin house stands out for its ability to merge opposites: light and darkness, refinement and instinct, creating fragrances that resonate deeply with the human soul.
