Cozonac is a fragrance of memory.

A scent of thick snow, of winter silence, and of warm light behind a small, misty window.

It tells the story of a childhood Christmas. A modest kitchen, an old oven that crackles, and a mother who prepares traditional sweet bread, golden pastries, while the house fills with an enveloping scent of candied lemon, orange peel and vanilla.

We can imagine the child sitting, looking through the slightly opaque glass of the oven, fascinated by the precise gestures, by the dough that rises slowly, by this simple and infinitely reassuring magic.

The bright citrus fruits bring a delicately sweet freshness at the beginning.
The heart reveals a tender and creamy, almost milky indulgence, reminiscent of the warm crumb of a cozonac fresh from the oven.
In the background, vanilla and candied fruit prolong the sweetness, like a memory that refuses to fade.

Cozonac is a tribute.
A fragment of a vanished world, preserved in a bottle.

A story told by the youngest member of the family, so that these moments never cease to exist.

The perfumer: Jimmy Bodin

Adi Ale Van is an independent perfumer whose work lies at the intersection of craftsmanship and artistic experimentation. Operating outside traditional structures, he develops a free, instinctive, and uncompromising approach, where each creation is conceived as a unique piece rather than a mere product. His perfumes are often produced in micro-batches, sometimes extremely limited, which enhances their rare and almost confidential character.

His olfactory signature is distinguished by a quest for contrast and texture, with compositions that can surprise, disturb, or fascinate, but rarely leave one indifferent. He favors expressive materials and singular constructions, exploring territories where minimalism can coexist with strong intensity. More than a pursuit of immediate seduction, his work aims to provoke a reaction, to create an intimate and memorable sensory experience.

In this approach, perfume becomes a true artistic medium, a space for personal expression where classic codes can be reinterpreted or completely discarded. Each creation by Adi Ale Van thus fits into a contemporary vision of niche perfumery, where authenticity, rarity, and risk-taking take precedence over conventions.

Atelier Adi ale Van is the place where the artist's ideas and dreams take shape in unique materials. The raw materials used are forest mushrooms, left to dry for more than six months, to serve as lids, very old recycled wood, clay, bones, metal, natural stones, cement, natural paints. Each project created in the workshop is unique and will not be reproduced.
