Inspirations

Akkhara is a niche fragrance inspired by the sacred Thai art of Sak Yant, a millennia-old tradition of mystical tattoos that embody protection, strength, and wisdom. Its name, meaning "sacred letters," pays homage to the Khmer and Pali inscriptions engraved on the skin as spiritual blessings.

This unique fragrance opens with a vibrant breath of Galbanum, blended with the green freshness of Violet Leaf and the mystical depth of Incense, evoking the atmosphere of Thai temples.

At the heart, a unique accord of Ink blends with the sensuality of Jasmine, the exoticism of Orchid, the warmth of Tobacco and the solar aura of Ylang Ylang.

Finally, the trail is anchored in the depth of Amber, Siam Benzoin, Patchouli and Vetiver, offering a spiritual, meditative and enveloping olfactory experience.

The bottle, decorated with blessings in Thai (luck, prosperity, wealth, victory) and the sacred number ๙, symbol of progression, links the perfume to the strength of traditions.

More than a perfume, Akkhara is a spiritual and mystical fragrance that invites reflection, self-confidence and connection with the richness of Thai culture.

The perfumer: Nutt Wesshasartar

Nutt Wesshasartar – The guardian of an olfactory heritage

Behind every Siam1928 fragrance lies the soul and vision of Nutt Wesshasartar, a fourth-generation Thai perfumer. Heir to a rare skill passed down within his family since 1928, Nutt doesn't simply create perfumes; he revives a memory, a ritual, a culture.

Trained at the intersection of tradition and innovation, he founded Siam1928 to offer the world a new interpretation of Thai perfumery. His creations draw inspiration from legends, poems, and emotions buried in his country's history. Each fragrance becomes an invitation to travel, blending spirituality and contemporary elegance.

Sensitive to noble raw materials, rare flowers, and sacred incense, Nutt meticulously composes his perfumes. He also collaborates with ceramic artisans to design Siam1928's iconic decorated porcelain bottles, true works of art, designed to last and be passed down.

Through Siam1928, Nutt Wesshasartar shares more than a passion: he transmits a unique olfactory culture, where each note tells a fragment of eternal Siam.
