Dawn Spencer Hurwitz is a renowned perfumer, olfactory artist and certified aromatherapist, renowned in the American indie and niche perfume industry. With nearly three decades of experience, she has created her own brand, DSH Perfumes, which is distinguished by the art of artisanal perfumery.

Her passion for perfume began in 1991, when she worked at ESSENSE Perfumery in Boston. There, she developed her skills and talent, combining the principles of fine art with fragrance creation. Over the years, she has consulted major designers and created exclusive fragrances while developing her own fragrance line.

A pioneer of American indie perfumery, Dawn combines a deep understanding of aesthetics, aromatherapy, and the history of perfumery. She also creates conceptual olfactory works as part of her Art Projects collection, which is exhibited in various museums and galleries. As a teacher and mentor, she shares her expertise and innovative approach with future generations.
