David-Lev Jipa Slivinschi is a unique creator. Formerly immersed in the world of cinema, he understood very early on that images were no longer enough. He needed a more intimate, more immediate medium to tell and convey his stories. This is how he found his most accurate language in perfume.

Self-taught, David trained alone, far from schools and titles. He prefers the term perfume maker to that of perfumer, too often surrounded by elitism or normative expectations. His approach is direct, organic, visceral. He creates not to impress, but to share a sensation, a dizziness, a memory.

His work is driven by an obsession with the human experience at its most naked—love, loss, memory, the passage of time. His perfumes are fragments of memory transformed into matter, attempts to capture the universal through the intimate. What seems like a personal moment suddenly becomes a shared emotion, as if, through it, each person rediscovers a forgotten part of themselves.

David composes as one writes a confession. Unvarnished, unfiltered, but with a profound attention to beauty in detail. Each creation is a suspended space, an atmosphere charged with emotion, a story told through the skin.

He doesn't seek to seduce. He seeks to reach.
