Inspirations

Kanhakotama draws its inspiration from Thai mythology and the majesty of the naga, sacred serpentine creatures. Among the four great naga families, the Kanhakotama are distinguished by their dark, glistening, obsidian-like scales. Their power surpasses that of other lineages, and their presence is so rare that they are only encountered deep within rivers. Warriors and guardians of treasure, they embody strength, protection, and authority. Some, guided by virtue, achieve noble ranks and become kings, like the legendary naga king Damsanesiri Chantranakharach, an illustrious warrior ruler.

This niche fragrance pays homage to the impressive power of the black-scaled naga, emerging from a dusty and fiery battlefield. To capture this dark and majestic aura, we used real ebony wood, burned and worked to create a unique accord, evoking shadow armor covered in dust. Around this noble material, black pepper, cumin, and piper betle infuse a spicy warmth, reminiscent of the dry, burning air of a warfield. Notes of leather add strength and depth, embodying the warrior spirit of the naga, before uniting with the roundness of vanilla and the woody nuances of patchouli and vetiver. Together, these accords shape a robust, mysterious, and captivating fragrance, where shadow blends with light, both destructive and protective.

More than just a fragrance, Kanhakotama is an ode to the mythology and spiritual strength of the naga. This intense and enveloping fragrance embodies power, courage, and mystery. Intended for lovers of niche woody and spicy fragrances, it stands out for its singular depth and strong character. Wearing Kanhakotama means embracing the strength of mythical warriors, an ancestral energy that inspires respect, protection, and inner power.
