Bee Fossil Found in Early Cretaceous Period Burmese Amber or also known as Burmite Amber is an amber from the Hukawng Valley in northern Myanmar and is dated to be approximately 99 million years old.

This precious amber fossil is a resin formed from the sap of conifers fossilized during years of constant heat and pressure.

From the above idea, “Burmite Honey” is the combination of Himalayan fossil amber oil and beeswax absolute as the main attraction.

This fragrance composition combines the key appeals of Himalayan fossilized amber oil and beeswax absolute. Top notes include the resinous quality of fossilized amber, the freshness of bergamot and the spiciness of pink pepper. Heart notes showcase the richness of beeswax, complemented by the seductive scents of jasmine, incense, rose, ylang-ylang and violet leaf. Base notes provide an earthy, animalic effect with sandalwood, vetiver, patchouli, ambergris, civet and musk.

“Burmite Honey” captures the mystical and ancient atmosphere of the Jurassic era, evoking images of captivating woods, deep florals and luminous incense. The concept of prehistoric golden nectar harvested by 99 million year old bees adds a sense of awe and wonder. This fragrance aims to transport you to a distant past and immerse you in the rich history of Burmese amber.

The perfumer: Prin Lomros

Prin Lomros is a self-taught perfumer from Thailand, whose passion for fragrances dates back to his childhood, when he wore his mother's perfumes. Although he initially pursued a degree in film, earning a master's degree in the subject, he quickly realized that his true calling lay in the world of perfumery.

His journey into this universe began when he visited Grasse, France during the Cannes Film Festival, where he took perfumery courses that deepened his passion. Back in Thailand, he joined The Perfumer's World, a perfume company in Bangkok, to hone his skills. This led him to create his own brands: Pryn Parfum, Strangers Parfumerie and Parfum Prissana. In 2020, he merged these brands under the name PRIN, continuing to design perfumes inspired by his Asian roots and cinema.

Prin Lomros' creations have been internationally acclaimed, winning prestigious awards including the Art and Olfaction Awards in 2017 and 2018. His fragrances are also featured in various brands such as Azman, Der Duft, Zoologist Perfumes, and many more.

Prin’s approach to perfumery is unique, merging the narrative art of cinema with the art of olfactory creation. He designs his fragrances as stories, translating images, sounds and textures into olfactory accords. His creations, often infused with Asian elements such as Thai temple incense, are an expression of his personal journey, his cinematic influences and his love of perfumery. For him, each perfume is a work of art, whose interpretation varies depending on the person who wears it.

Prin

Prin is a perfume house founded in 2019, born from a simple and personal vision: to create a perfume that embodies the most authentic style and preferences of its creator. Its central concept is based on a unique olfactory signature, an interpretation of what he would do if he had to create only one, a perfume that deeply resembles him.

Prin's creations are imbued with a nocturnal poetry, where each fragrance transports us into twilight, mysterious and captivating worlds. The soul of the house is nourished by animal materials, raw and powerful ingredients that evoke both sensuality and depth.

The first chapter of this olfactory adventure opens with three striking creations: "Anatolia", a fragrance that celebrates the Orient with its rich and mysterious aromas, "Mandodari", an interpretation of Asian delicacy wrapped in woody and floral nuances, and finally "Aran", a composition that embodies wild nature, a captivating perfume of raw intensity.

These creations are an invitation to explore dark and sublime sensory horizons, where each note reflects the essence of a nocturnal and animal universe. The Prin house stands out for its ability to merge opposites: light and darkness, refinement and instinct, creating fragrances that resonate deeply with the human soul.
